Attestation Stage Begins for 2009 Streamlined Renewal Process

Beginning October 13, 2008 all company and individual licensees may log into NMLS and attest as part of the 2009 Streamlined Renewal Process. Companies should ensure that all of their licensed mortgage loan originators complete their renewal requirements and login and attest to their record as soon as possible. Licensees must make any necessary updates to their record and attest in order to submit a renewal request. Renewal requests can be submitted starting November 1, 2008. For more information, and a list of states participating in the 2009 Streamlined Renewal Process, see Renewal Overview.
