ATTENTION ALL MORTGAGE LICENSEES
The Office of Financial Institutions ceased issuing paper licenses to residential mortgage licensees in August 2008. Therefore, licensees will not be receiving a paper license for 2009. Please refer above under “Licensees (w/exam dates)”. There you will find an alphabetical list of all currently licensed mortgage companies and originators.
REINSTATEMENTS
If you have successfully transitioned onto the NMLS, Louisiana will consider reinstatement requests submitted through NMLS before March 1, 2009. Please submit a written explanation to the Commissioner and any penalties will be at his discretion. If you failed to transition on the NMLS by 12/31/08, you must re-apply through the NMLS.
